Quality & Clinical
Hospitals and clinics must meet an ever-increasing list of requirements in order to keep their doors open and serve their patient populations.
As they know all too well, a visit from CMS, DOH, DNV or The Joint Commission can result in a citation, fine, or even partial or total closure. Since this can lead to lost revenue and service interruption, it pays to assess your organization’s readiness for such a visit beforehand. Having experienced, knowledgeable experts perform a mock inspection of your facility before the real inspectors show up can help minimize the number of findings and limit the amount of work required to bring your organization into compliance.
Washington Hospital Services offers Pre-Survey Inspections to help you prepare for your Center for Medicaid Services (CMS), Washington State Department of Health, DNV and Joint Commission surveys.
These “mock” surveys are conducted by WSHA/WHS staff and/or qualified contractors to assess readiness in the following areas:
- Clinical Quality
- Infection Prevention
- Environment of Care
- COVID-19 Vaccination Compliance
The WHS team is non-regulatory. Through trusted partnerships and collaboration with our hospital members, we offer education, subject matter expertise, and other quality improvement services.
