Quality & Clinical

Pre-Survey Inspections

Hospitals and clinics must meet an ever-increasing list of requirements in order to keep their doors open and serve their patient populations.

As they know all too well, a visit from CMS, DOH, DNV or The Joint Commission can result in a citation, fine, or even partial or total closure. Since this can lead to lost revenue and service interruption, it pays to assess your organization’s readiness for such a visit beforehand. Having experienced, knowledgeable experts perform a mock inspection of your facility before the real inspectors show up can help minimize the number of findings and limit the amount of work required to bring your organization into compliance.

The pre-survey reviews through WHS have been well coordinated, thorough, and well received. This is a great service to help leaders assess survey preparedness for Critical Access Hospitals. Whether continual preparedness activities are ongoing or not, the WHS consultants bring an objective assessment that is relevant for CMS, L&I, DOH, TJC, DNV, Fire and Life Safety, or Board of Pharmacy. The consultants also bring current resources and information to help address identified opportunities.
